Mike Evans has achieved a remarkable milestone in his NFL career, recording his 11th consecutive season with over 1,000 receiving yards. Despite battling injuries that forced him to miss significant time during the season, Evans secured this achievement in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' final game, where he caught a crucial 9-yard pass to clinch exactly 1,004 yards for the season. His outstanding performance led to a Pro Bowl selection as a replacement player for the Pro Bowl Games, marking his sixth appearance. This ties him with the legendary Mike Alstott for the most Pro Bowl selections in Buccaneers history.
Alongside Evans, several other players received Pro Bowl nods. Atlanta Falcons rookie Bijan Robinson was named to his first Pro Bowl, taking the place of Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley. Additionally, New York Giants rookie Malik Nabers earned a selection, becoming the first rookie from the franchise to make the Pro Bowl since Odell Beckham Jr. in 2014. Washington Commanders linebacker Bobby Wagner also earned his 10th Pro Bowl nod, while New Orleans center Erik McCoy and Minnesota offensive tackle Brian O’Neill were also among the replacements recognized for their exceptional performances this season.
