The New York Jets are enduring a dismal 2024 NFL season, currently holding a 4-11 record and missing the playoffs for the 14th consecutive year, the longest drought in North American sports.

A major issue has been their special teams, particularly the kicking game. In response, the Jets have signed veteran kicker Greg Joseph to their practice squad, marking his third team this season.

Joseph has struggled with his kicking accuracy, making only 78.9% of his attempts. If promoted to the active roster, he would become the Jets' fifth kicker this year, following a series of inconsistent performances from previous kickers.
